Today, I’m welcoming a special guest to the podcast: yes, one more! Another beautiful encounter that 2025 gifted me. Amidst the chaos this year brought, there were also many unexpected and precious surprises… and Lola is one of them.
Our relationship started in the simplest way: I chose Lola as my Spanish teacher. And the rest? The rest is currently being written. The rest is history.

What I loved most about this conversation is Lola’s enthusiasm and her positive perspective on life. She brings a new way of looking at something I’ve struggled with for a long time: mixing passion and money. That’s exactly why I do this podcast—conversing with people and connecting with their ability to make you see things differently, in ways that may completely shift your way of thinking.
It often takes decades of therapy, years of rewiring the brain to deconstruct certain patterns and limiting beliefs… and yet, sometimes, a single conversation with the right person can shift something in an instant.
This conversation goes beyond creativity. Lola brought me, and I’m sure will bring many of you, a renewed sense of positivity and a way of looking at the glass half full. She probably caught me at a time when I was in a very melancholic state (about 80% of my life!), so for that… thank you, Lola.
In this episode, she also shares an amazing tool she uses to navigate her life, make decisions, and most importantly, take action!
What we both share here, and something I see clearly now, is this: we are amongst the people who decided to live a destiny life and not a fated life. It does come with pain, for sure, as we have to fight against norms and against not meeting the expectations others place on us but we also gain something invaluable: owning the reins of our life instead of letting someone else (family, partner, society, gender roles, corporations, or norms) hold the reins for us.
